Why do skies, especially coastal skies, move us so deeply ?

Northern Skies is a semi-abstract series inspired by the ever-changing skies of the North: their shifting light, fleeting moods, and quiet vastness. Each painting captures a moment of transformation: clouds dissolving, light bending, colors merging and fading.

The series explores how the sky mirrors our inner states, calm, restless, radiant, or uncertain. Through this observation of impermanence, the series aims to becoming a space of contemplation and silence, an invitation to breath and rest.
